Had it installed on Fri. I went with the non-res, non-valved, black tips. I could not be happier with the sound, fit and finish of this exhaust. The sound is just AWESOME!! I drove home on Friday with the top down and radio off with a big smile on my face. This exhaust makes the car complete IMHO. I also think the black tips compliment the Mugello Blue nicely. If you've been considering the Milltek exhaust, get it. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks to Ryan at ICS of Stamford for the install. Ryan is a great guy and his mechanics are top shelf. Highly recommend him to anyone in the NY/CT/NJ area. He took some pics of the tips so maybe he'll post a few.

How is with the top up? Drop-tops (other brands) tend to boom pretty bad and you have a really loud exhaust... You probably can't answer that question until you've lived with it for a few months though.

There's some drone around 2,000 rpm but not too much. Will be interesting the next time the wife is in the car if she notices any difference.

I almost have the same setup on my Avus cab, but went with valved...the satin black tips look awesome with Avus too. The drone/boominess is greatly reduced if you close the valve, but it's definitely there if you're in the wrong gear or starting in 2nd. I was going to go with tubi but decided on the non-res valved b/c of the satin black tips and valved option.
