Default Milltek review in the December Automobile Magazine...

<center><img src="http://www.stratmosphere.com/mtk_b7rs4_new.jpg"></center><p>We recently supplied Automobile Magazine with a Milltek exhaust for their Four Seasons RS 4. They have had some time with the car and reported the following on page 131 of the current book.

"We installed a $2699 Milltek cat-back exhaust to hear more of the RS4's V8. Just as with the stock exhaust system, pushing the "S" button on the dash opens the bypass valves in the rear muffers for more sound. It's boomy just off idle, but the screaming wail in the upper ranges turns heads the way the RS4 should have from day one."<ul><li><a href="http://www.stratmosphere.com/milltek_rs4_exhaust.htm">Milltek Sport RS 4 Exhaust</a></li></ul>

Default Resonated or not? Couple of questions:

Probably not going to do the down pipes on this car. So is the non-resonated too loud? I want it louder than stock but don't want it to be too much. whatever they have sounds like it could be just right.

Suggestions?

Default Having now heard several variations......

My personal opinion is that the non-resonated version of the exhaust is too loud for this particular application....but that's just my opinion.

Default It was non-resonated...

they acutally caught wind of our video clip and wanted to get close to that (no downpipes on their car). I think they had a lot of fun. With the valves you can definitely enjoy the non-resonated. -Pete

Default non-res with downpipes is just right!

Absolutely perfect sound. Get on it and you hear it. Cruise and the cockpit sound level is still quite comfortable. Roll down the windows, and the music is sweet.

Default Go with resonated or non resonated?

Have not heard either in person (only youtube), but I do want louder than stock (in S mode), but without "drone" while cruising. With S mode OFF, is the drone bad without the resonators? I mean...will it keep my soon to be newborn and 3 year old awake in the back seat?

Default Non-resonated valved would work on the highway...

if you are super-conservative resonated without valves should do. -Pete
