Default Mod Upgrade Advice

1. I am thinking about or going to do an ECU upgrade. Is Revo good? Not sure which one i should go with and what stage on Revo? I only have exhaust and KN Filter.
2. I want to get a short shifter. Who has what and do they like? Want to keep facoty shifter and boot for now unless you know of a place to get an Alcanta Boot? Does and R8 shifter fit on the RS4?
3. Sway bars? Front and rear? I have seen a few threads on here. Who likes which ones the best?

Looking forward to doing these mods unless you can recommend something else i should do besides these?

Thanks,

Forget all this stuff. Get Stasis SL or MS or KW V3 suspension. It will transform the handling of your car. Euro wheel also give a whole different feel to the steering.

Then do the Euro wheel. And yes, we've all been through the wife thing.

#1 Mod: Supsension: KW's or Stasis..don't forget 10MM wheel spacers to push the wheels out and make the car sit proper.
#2 MOd: Exhaust. Miltek or similar
#3 Mod: Stickier tires...try Bridgestone RE011Rs (depending on where you live) and never, EVER by a tire with a treadwear of over 220. Handling WILL suck.
#4 Mod: Ecu. Powerchip or similar
#5 Mod: Sway bar. Rear only is fine. Be sure to use Loctite on the bolts or you WILL have problems.
#6: Better brake pads. Stock brakes are fine, stock pads are marginal.

That's it. Trust us.

+1.

I might move the exhaust to #1, but that is just me.
Magnaflow sounds really good for the money, then take the rest and put it in a fund for the suspension.

I vote to so suspension 1st since it's a known part waiting to fail and then do the flapper "golf tee" mod to the exhaust. The car sounds amazing and I think it's faster do to the sound it makes.

I had the Magnaflow...it's just as loud as the Milltek. If you think either of these is too loud, you are NOT a good candidate for an exhaust system.
