Motorola Q

Motorola Q
Now had a Moto-Q for about 3 weeks. Works well with the RS4 bluetooth. Phonebook and call history all synch no problems. Always detected and pairs up as soon as the key is turned. I have had some 60+ minute calls on it and no bluetooth issues at all.
Prior to this I tried a Starcom (Audiovox) 6700 and it was crap. No phonebook, only partial call history. Most annoying it would often not pair and the bluetooth on the device needed to be reset to establish the pairing. Also during calls and also just idle it would drop the bluetooth link and re-connect every 15 minutes or so.
Hope this helps....

You have to remove your favorites to get it to work with Verizon.
My 650 would connect up and then after a minute or so, the treo would completely reset. Then after rebooting, it would connect up and repeat the whole reset process again and again. After hours on the phone with Verizon and Palm, the solution was to remove the one touch buttons that speed dial specific numbers. I think its called the favorite buttons (not sure because I'm no expert at Palm Everything's been great since then!

Very cool! I am going to get the Q soon. Do you have RNS-E? What do you mean by the phone book
and call history sync? Does it display them on the Nav screen?
How's the sound quality for the ppl on the other end?

1) Yes, RNS-E if that's what the RS4 has. It looks just like what my B7 S4 had so I'm sure it's RNS-E.
2) Phone book = contacts. The entire contact list shows up. So if you synch with your desktop PC that means your outlook contact list is available basically.
3) Call history works (received calls, missed calls, dialed calls all are listed).
4) Voice quality is tops. Way better than the Starcom POS I was trying, and better than my old BB7250.
