Default Muffler issue solved...

I put some magnaflow resonators in and problem solved. After I got home I got the remainder of my caterpillar muffler paint and painted the backside of the muffler and I like it much better now.

Default I will soon but it's been raining here in Houston nonstop on and off for the last year...

The day after I had a full detail, it rained for a week straight.

Default good deal, I think I'm going to do that too.

Default I just painted the backside of the muffler...

not the entire muffler. Basically, the instructions state to scruff the surface lightly with sandpaper, and then without primer spray light coats of the paint until even. If you are going to do your whole muffler with tips, it might be easier to remove the muffler from your car. My stock tips were painted black with muffler paint and they have held up for the last 1 year without issue. The only thing is that the surface is quite rough, so it tends to trap dust and sand easily. Just take a little more scrubbing to get the dirt off.

The actual color was duller and the surface was rougher than this picture would suggest.

So this is one year later. Overall the muffler paint endures the elements well.
