My ship came in
Hey guys,
Been a lurker for months and learning a lot. Well on Tuesday I took delivery of my sweet Mugello Blue RS4.
Question for sr8ted - where did you go for your tint and 3M treatment? Are you happy with the job they did?

Early 04 Cayenne S would visit the dealer every 45 to 60 days. I hear those issues are under control in the later models, but I was burned by it.
Had fun with it on the track, most of the time on the open road, and it was a an amazing thing in concept - but it is a crazy concept.

Thoughts on tint and, yes, I had that question for sr8ted too...
First, congrats on the RS4, Mugello was on my shortlist too. Good to have another local owner.
Tint - If you read my post last night w/pics, you'll see we've used Mr. Tint & Sun in Bellevue (Bel-Red Rd) at least five times -- excellent results. Rudy's the owner and I think does all the installs himself. I went 35% which with the slight factory tint is probably more like 30% or a little lower. My son has 20% on his car (in the pics. too) and that would look great on Mugello IMO. I didn't feel I needed to go that dark on Avus.
3M - Rudy has another company that comes in for 3M clear bra installs, but I don't recall their name and haven't had any experience with them. Hence my interest in where sr8ted went. I'm kinda on the fence with this thing and would like to see how sr8ted's looks in person - what say you sr8ted?

I got my tint done at Accutint in Bellevue. The 3M treatment is awesome.
If you want to check out my car, send me an email. m_hone@hotmail.com. I am over in Redmond during the days. You can barely see the 3M protection. I got 20% tint.
