That is, who has de-flapped their beast (a.k.a. RS4)?

BTW, there's no baby on the way. . . had a vasectomy after two. . .

Default Deflapping is a nice idea in theory, but........
It does let in hot air. I'll personally wait a while to see if a comprehensive aftermarket airbox appears that addresses the issue of heat.

What I would like to know is why is there a flapped secondary air inlet to begin with? Why didn't Audi just design a bigger primary inlet? What is the advantage and purpose of the stock configuration? When this question is answered correctly, then I may think about modifying it.

But those of us with the Flapper Switch Mod can test the effectiveness of flapping in the warm breeze, while others just keep on wishing.
