Nürburgring lap times
So....the RS4 Nürburgring lap time is 8:04 (Sport Auto 6/06). Anybody did better?
Incidentally the Lexus ISF is only 8:18 ??
A related question: the stasis upgrade , was it tested to see if it improves lap times ? or is it just subjective feelings of better handling on your local highway?

I have not had the opportunity to lap the N'ring in my RS4 yet
The first time I had my RS4 on track with the Stasis MS setup, my instructor was swapping between my car and an identical RS4 with stock suspension. He was blown away at the difference, made a comment every single run. The stock suspension is OK on the road. I thought it was a real handful on track. The tail was loose under heavy braking, and transitions were sloppy. Absolutely no comparison.
I think any high quality coilover kit is going to be better than stock; Bilstein PSS9s, KW, whatever. I am pretty sure the KW's are big overseas.
I went with the Stasis MS kit because it seemed to offer the best adjustability, and I have no regrets. In fact, it is probably one reason I have not sold the car, as few stock cars handle like this. I probably saved as much as the kit cost in taxes that would have been spent swapping cars.
