Default Navigation DVD won't eject... Problem solved.

Got the new disc, but the old one wouldn't eject. Turns out the dealer had disabled the eject button so that the disc "wouldn't be stolen." Now have to go back to have them re-enable it. What a bother! Last time I went there for something simple and free (coolant for my Q7), I ended up spending WAY too much money (on the RS4).

Is this the 2008 / 2009 version from navteq that you speak of?

I think this is on all the 2008 models, they disabled the button.

Yes, that's the disc. Not in yet, as have to (with proper trepidation) go to Phil Ling Audi in Colorado Springs tomorrow or Friday to get the eject unlocked. Will post results... Looking at disc and case for 2008-09 version has no indication of software update of any kind, so kind of doubt "Aux In" functionality...

Default heh... question for you...

Would you be wiling to "share" the disk with me? No pressure, totally cool if you have any reservations about it whatsoever.

I've made lots of copies of the disk that came with my car so that other RS4 owners who had the original disk that shipped with the early 2007's could get updated. If you would be willing to let me get an image of it, I could spread the love.

Once again, totally cool if you don't want to.

My 2008 ejects fine. I've taken the disc out several times in order to play a CD.
