Default NE1 have picture of 275/30 REO1R's on RS4?

Factory Pirelli's are toast at 22K - time to go shopping. Tire shop suggesting REO1R's but says they come in stock size, so suggested above plus size.

I know some of you are running the 275/30's, so would appreciate any pics/feedback. I'm concerned they may look too "wide" and maybe 30 profile will ride too harsh.

Any other suggestions welcome too. Thanks

Default I think it's "RE-01R", not "REO1R"

...searching on this, will get you this &amp; many other pics.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/64912.phtml">CLICKY</a></li></ul>

Default Here's one

BTW, they don't look too wide and they provide a smoother ride than the stock PS2s (particularly at high speeds). . . and they are stickier as well.

Default how's the tread wear holding up?

assuming you aren't using them at the track.

Default Hmmmmm..I find them less smooth at speeds of 100+ on the highway

definitelystickier, and definitely have a meaner look to them. Now quite as good in the wet weather, and to me, I find them a lot rougher when cruising on interstate at speeds of 100+...

Default "not quite as good in wet weather"?

i should think not, it's a dedicated dry pavement tire. rough in what way? feel the pounding on imperfect surfaces? that would be the stiff sidewall to handle higher G levels
