I'm seriously considering ordering an RS4 in white, and am told the options are Ibis and Arctic. I don't live near a dealership, and I plan to visit one before I order, but I was wondering - can anyone here tell me what the general differences are?

I have not seen the Ibis but Arctic White is awesome, a very white white if you know what I mean.

Ibis has just the slightest hint of blue in it. Artic is pure white.

Arctic white is a white that has a creamy hue to it while ibis white is more of a pure, bright white. Both colors look very cool, but I'd say go with the ibis white because it is the newer color and looks incredible on the RS4s on the board in addition to a 2007 A4 I saw at my dealership. Hopefully some pics will be posted so you can compare the two. Good luck on choosing, but either way you can't go wrong.

I don't see any blue hue in my car. IMO, Ibis is pure white.

But you need to have a very calculated eye to tell. Arctic is a Bone White and looks almost yellow next to the pure white, Ibis. I'll take some pics one day this week to show the difference.

Personally I think Arctic has a slight cream color to it compared to Ibis.

not long ago and it just looked like a standard white, much like Alpine White BMW has IMO.
