Not an RS4 owner yet, but close. Could use a little advice. Considering an 07 M.Blue RS4 4k mi apparently bought at auction in the NY area and shipped to upper midwest (Mpls) offered for sale by a non-Audi dealer. I've driven it and seems ok. Clean Carfax, but I know that doesn't mean much. Dealer's been around awhile and seems ok. Other options are a little more $$ for an 07 CPO with similar miles or just go new, hoping to negotiate and get the end of 2.9% financing. Any thoughts? Thanks

You can get a 07 cpo with 2.9 %. I thougt that was just for a new rs4. I got 4.9% on my 07.

No, I think the 2.9 is for 2008. Don't know what it is for 07 CPO, but 4.9% sounds good

Default Welcome

You never really know the history of a used car. It all depends on how much you are willing to pay to have a new car vs. a used car. I would be willing to pay $56-57K for a non-CPO car and $59-60K for a CPO car. I would think you could get a few thousand off a new 2008. So is it worth $10-15K to drive a new car versus a lightly used car? It probably would be for me personally, but I am stupid with my car purchases.

Also check out the registry below.

RS4 Registry

What sparkhill says is really valid w/ this car. If I wasn't convinced that my car was broke in correctly (hard) I never would have gone used, and obviously you can't tell that with an auction car. Just my .02...

Default New 2008 Black/Black for $2000 off sticker...

Saw it at Don Rosen the other day while getting my car serviced... Can't say enough about the dealership... Give them a call if you're interested...

PM me if you want more information or just want the name of a great salesperson...

I just picked up my '08 rs4 from Rusnak Audi in Thousand Oaks yesterday, and I got the 2.9% financing. I was pretty surprised cause I thought the special financing offer ended March 4th. I guess they can still do it.

there have been dozens of threads on break in procedures on this forum - no everyone agrees but if you do a search you can draw your own conclusions. that said I think most would agree that babying this car through break in is a mistake and can result in increased oil consumption, but as i said, opinions vary...
