Default What is the "Premium Package ZPP" ?

Its 3100$, is it including things not listed on that list? Quite confusing...

What will the 4dr version cost I wonder?

I would still rather drive a GranSport than this. I am sure there will be no shortage of E90 M3s once released, and I just don't like sharing the wealth

Default like I said, what a bargain!

you don't think the RS4 was a bargain for what it is?

Default I think the RS4 is a bargain for what it is because...

It includes all year, all weather performance, it has the DRC which makes a huge difference, it has an interior that can't be matched, it has huge trunk space and seats four.

Now give me an ugly coupe with only 2 doors and the stigma of the BMW brand, and have it most likely only match or slightly exceed the performance of the RS4...

well no, I don't call that a bargain.

Default take the blinders off dude.... the new M3 is going to be an amazing car and...

and will be much more of a drivers' car than the RS4.

I've run both my RS4 and my M5 at a recent weekend DE and the despite the SMG, the rwd M5 was much more involving to drive than the RS4 in almost every aspect. Both cars had DSC/ESP off and I was lapping much faster on the M5 despite the tighter track. On a longer track with longer straights, the M5's advantage will be even more significant. Assuming the next M3 will be a much lighter car than both the M5 and RS4, it will be a better driver's car and will be much more fun on the track. That's just my theory.

For all-year daily driving duties, I can't argue with you there. The RS4 is more capable for sure thanks to quattro. But that's not exactly the primary reason why we buy cars like these to begin with right? I have a winter beater subaru and toyota for those purposes. I don't know about you but I buy performance cars so I can make them perform to their fullest, or at least to the best of my driving abilities, at the track. This brings a smile to my face that lasts for weeks.

Don't be a hater dude. The RS4 is a fantastic car. That's why I bought one. But you can't possibly dismiss the upcoming M3 given the BMW M-division's track record for producing some seriously driver-oriented machines over the years.

Why don't we move all of this to an "amazing speculation" forum: Not the RS4.
