someone finally got it right!

Side view mirrors are... nasty (i.e. ugly)

they will each have their advantages, but price, body style, engine choice make them comparable.
someone looking for a year-round 2+2 performance coupe for $65k in the northeast might opt for the S5. another person in SoCal who does the occasional track day might opt for the M3.

I like the styling, although the stuck-on spoiler is a disappointment on the trunk. To me the M3 is
a very different car from our RS4's and if Audi makes an RS5 that would be comparable to the new M3, IMO. FWIW, the only BMW styling I like is my 650i convertible and the new 3 Series coupes.
