I was amazed to see a forum that actually had some recent / relevant postings, so I decided to sign up.
I currently own a 2007 RS4 bought in Novemeber 2010, it had 18K miles on it and looked flawless with the exception of the curb rash on the two passenger side rims.
I'm writing in response to several people that said they prefer the RS4 to a newer (2010)S4....I know what you're saying. I went to several dealers that day with my sights set on a used S4, after several failed negoitations (I thought they wanted to much for the S4's), I drove an RS4 and had no problem paying 10-15K more than what I was looking to spend on the S4.
Overall I'm stilling grinning, with a few worries mainly DRC and carbon build up. The front shocks were replaced prior to me getting the car and I haven't looked yet for the carbon build up. The car certainly seems to have all 420hp.

Welcome. Agree the car is still a great find. I'm saving up for a carbon clean myself
