Default NEW STOCK RS4 1/4 MILE RECORD - 12.75 @ 108.36

So we had a bunch of cars out to Toronto Motorsports Park today. They were (as near as i can remember....I'll update/correct after the guys chime in on their bests)

jspazz - B8 S4 DSG with tune + pulley - ran 12.17 @ 113 (pretty close to his best times)
81bear - B8 S4 DSG with all the goodies - ran 12.2 @ 113 (a bit slower than his best times)
turbobaby - B8 S4 DSG with REVO 93 tune only - ran 12.3 @ 113 (first time running tuned)
seinsmeld - B8 S4 DSG with GIAC 91 tune and I'm not sure what else - ran 12.8 @ 109 (first time running tuned)
boravr6 - B7 S4 MT6 with JHM 93 tune and 2.5" catless fullback - ran 13.1 @ 105 (new best)
bangoman - B6 S4 Avant MT6 with JHM 93 tune, piggies, 2.5" mflow exhaust + JHM IV clutch/fw - ran 13.4 @ 104 (first time running tuned)
harp - Mk II TT 3.2 MT6 bone stock - 14.5 @ ?? (can't remember)

Other cars there included

B5 S4 - Tial 605 and full stage III. Not sure what fuel he ran, but - 12.1 @ 118 was the best time I saw (I've seen that car run 11.9 before...it's the Tial world record holder according to the AZ list)
B5 S4 - hopefully bone stock - low 15s @ 98
B8 S5 4.2 - hopefully stock as well - high 14s @ 100-101
E93 M3 (cab) MT - " " - high 13s @ 108-109
C63 AMG - weirdest car of the day...consistently ran low 13s @ 110. I ran against him twice and was a couple buslengths in front both races (we have them filmed) . When I loooked at our shared slip I could see he had 2.5 second 60 foot times. Explains that! Still the MPH wasn't that awesome. 112-114 is more normal for those cars.

I was also there in my 2008 bone stock Avus Silver B7 RS4 (CAR 6398). My car had previously run 12.94 @ 107 at Cayuga which is the third fastest stock time I've heard on the forums, so really I was just there to take some photos, film some runs and shoot the ****. But the DA was awesome (around -500 most of the day) so I decided to run my car. I did so full interior, stock wheels and tire size, and with 1/4 tank of Petro Canada (Suncor) 94 octane. Car has 35,000 miles on or so, and has never been carbon cleaned.

1st run was a test, and I ****ed up the launch. It launched hard, but I had rolled forward and started the clocks early. 13.0 @ 106 with a 2.0 60 foot time.
2nd run was a beauty. Car launched great, cut a 1.84 sixty foot time (first time in the RS4 for me to be better than 1.90) and ran on to a new RS4 stock record - 12.81 @ 107.7 MPH! The previous stock record was jnaut who ran 12.84 @ 107.7 so it was cool to nick him.

After this I basically shut it down for a while...threw in a couple of runs without cooling the car. These were 12.9 @ 107 mostly, + one with ESP on (FAIL!) and another where I clean missed second (FAIL AGAIN)...shot the **** and took some photos and video.

A while later when a few of the B8 guys left, bangoman, bora and I threw down a few more runs. Fortunately we got them ALL on video because they were sweet!

12.79 @ 108..2 (1.85 sixty foot)
12.77 @ 108.2 (1.85 sixty foot)
12.75 @ 108.3 (1.83 sixty foot)

I also ran the C63. As you can see he was having trouble off the line (most all the non-audis were it seemed).

All in all it was a great day for motorcar racing, and everyone was really cool. True gentlemen (even seinsmeld )

i didn't grab the slip (cruised past the hut) but the guys said it was like 20 @ 20 lol. I just rolled down. No sense in bothering after ****ing up that bad. I launched off about 4000 rpm all day. Maybe 3700-4000 would be more accurate. The car nearly stopped, TC came on so strong, so I just said **** it and rolled out.

I made 13 passes.

12.75 @ 108.3, 1.83 60'
12.77 @ 108.2, 1.85 60'
12.79 @ 108.2, 1.85 60'
12.81 @ 107.7, 1.84 60'
12.82 @ 108.0, 1.83 60' (vs. the C63 AMG 13.7 @ 110.6)
12.90 @ 107.2, 1.88 60' (vs. B8 S4 GIAC 91 TUNE...he ran 12.92 @ 109.8)
12.90 @ 107.4, 1.86 60'
12.97 @ 106.4, 1.87 60'
12.98 @ 105.2, 1.86 60' missed the 3-4 badly (vs AMG C63 13.8 @ 111.6, 2.4 60')
13.07 @ 1086.9, 2.01 60'
13.10 @ 105.4, 1.90 60' (vs. APR stage II B8 S4 on race gas 12.27 @ 113.0)
13.46 @ 105.3 , 1.83 60' (the one where I missed second badly, coasted for half a second but kept in it because I was racing a buddy for fun)
20@20 the ESP launch

Just out of curiosity, why do you consider having a lw flywheel, lw rotors, and h-pipe as "Stock"? Not that anyone is all that concerned, but just seems a little dishonest. If someone else out there is really trying to see what their stock car can do and they are just running high 12's, low 13's thay may be assuming they suck or there's something wrong with their car and go on a witch hunt.

I think you're mistaken. My 2008 Avus Silver RS4 has zero mods. I have an upgraded radio (RNSe 2010+) as my only 'mod'. I have a JHMOTORSPORTS license plate holder, which was on my old B7 S4 before I traded it in last summer. Those two mods don't give me much hp though.

The car in the thread you linked (2007 RS4 with lwfw, lw rotors, ECS hpipe) belongs to RS4tony, an audizine member living in New York. His pbox file was sent to my by tsivas27, who organized a pbox data gathering meet with B8 S4s and Tony's RS4.

Here's the thread where Tsivas27 talks about the cars at the meet.

Here's TSIVAS27's post relating to that car:

Finally, here's a video of my car from this weekend. The guy filming did a 'no-cut' video once he saw the time was a new record. This was to address the inevitable 'my car ran mid 13s...there's no way you ran 12.75'. Looks like he was smart to do that, based on your post. He filmed me without cutting, all the way to back in the staging area, showing the car. You can clearly see it's full weight, full interior and you can see the stock rotors.

But thanks for coming out gibsoni. Good luck with your car. Say hi to BadRS4 for me.

You clown....I really did not want to reply to this continued foolishness...but I could'nt help but point out your continued B/S! IF YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT THE WELL MODDED (with lwfw, lw rotors, ECS hpipe) 2007 RS4.....WHY THE ***** DID YOU SAY IT WAS "PRETTY MUCH STOCK"?????? and on top of this mess!!! Then you post some WELL-EDITED lame, youtube video showing that your car magically drives itself to the "staging area" and pops its own doors for a look around.....were you hiding your 250 lb *** from the camera??? Ohhhhh maybe you should focus on doing magic tricks instead of wasting everyones time on Audi forums...

you're a piece of work

1. re: tonyRS4's car and the posts on audirevolution just for your information, rotors and a clutch and a deleted resonator is not well modded. The downpipes are stock. The catback is stock with the exception of the resonator deletion. The tune is stock. That's a pretty much stock car. I know it's well modded for someone who buys their car at Carmax, but in the real world, that's barely modded at all. That would still be stage 0 in the forced induction world as the tune hadn't even been touched.

2. On the video, I parked the car, then went to grab the guy in the C63 to get him to wait and run against my car. You can see me talking to him if you try real hard. I'm 6'5" 240lbs. I have nothing to hide. It's not edited in any way other than being sped up because it would take about 4 minutes of boring nothing if it wasn't . I'm sure the guy would be happy to post the whole thing up to stop you having your period all over the pool.

All of this hate and angst because you ran 13.5 @ 103 in your RS4? That is not my problem. That means you ran in **** conditions, and you don't know how to drive. You said you launched at 1500-2000 rpm. Are you kidding me? And remember when you were telling me how smart you were for shifting right at redline, even though I told you the car is faster if you shift a few hundred RPM before redline? Keep up whatever you're doing buddy. Keep those 13.5s rolling in. Post up your timeslip. Your claim that it 'blew out the window' is such an obvious lie. You probably ran 13.9 or something and are too embarrassed.

Every magazine on earth had the RS4 running 12.8 - 13.0 seconds when stock. Half a dozen of us have run 13.0 or better when stock. Just because you sucked and ran 13.5, doesn't mean jack**** about everyone else. Hell elevens went 12.5 with just a GIAC tune, and has said he thinks a 12.6 when stock would be possible. Why don't you go blow up his thread? Grow up.

The more you open your mouth, the more you show how little you know.
