Default New Winter Shoes just in time for another dump!

Here's my new Hartmann RS6 replika snow wheels. These are identical to the OEM Audi winter wheel that was offered for the RS6. Size: 18 x 7.5 et20, clad with Dunlop WinterSport M3's. I know they are not as sexy as the stocker 19's, but this is a far better snow driving setup than using a 19 x 9. The wheel is recessed 5mm, so there is considerably less chance for muck making contact with the paint. Not a bad price at $270 each. Bring on the snow!

Default it looks tight from the outside, but the wheel opens a bit on the inside, prolly 3 to 4mm...

2mm is said to be the minimum clearance for wheel to caliper. I've got that and a bit more. It's tight but works well.

Default No. 235's would be a bit too bulgy on 7.5" rim.

225/45 x 18 is perfect for a 7.5" rim. This also maintains the correct outside diameter (closest to the 255/35 x 19 summer tires).

If you had an 8" rim you could use 235/45 x 18. The 40 series tire would give you the wrong outside diameter.
