Default Newb question on Maintenance:

Coming from bimmers, service is always included (even on my past two M3).

What is the regular service for the RS4, how many miles, and approximate cost? I know the "inspection 2" on my E46 M3 is about $1200 retail, curious if the RS4 has anything like this...

Default Audi Care is $590 for 4 years of scheduled maintenance.

paying for each service out of pocket would be a lot more....an oil change is like $130 at my dealership.

Default I ponied up for that but now I wish I hadn't - they use Castrol Syntec snake oil.

But you're right, coming from a BMW, you get a bit of *shock* having to actually pay for maintenance on your brand new Audi.

Default you could always bring your own oil.

I used to do that with my old TT, otherwise they would put dino oil in it. Even if you add the cost of your oil to the $590 for AC, it probably still would be less than paying for the scheduled maintenance out of pocket.

Default I think so, but I think there's a time limitation.

first 12 months or something like that....after that, I think you're on your own. Ditto the clutch. Your Audi service writer can probably answer this more definitively.

Yes I considered that, but will probably just have them add Castrol then drain it after 2500 miles.
