I am about to purchase a 2007 RS4 and it has the factory iPod adapter (not CD changer). Is it true that there is not upgrade/fix for the display of the iPod information? From what I understand it will not display title, artist and track info (which obviously isn't great). I do understand that music SD memory will provide that information.

Thanks for the confirmation...I don't own the car yet and wanted to check with the RS4 owners to see about their experience.

By the way...I have searched up and down the list but could not find conclusive info. on this.

Stevelev: Let me make sure I understand your post correctly, I would buy this and connect it to my "already factory installed" ipod adapter system?

From the pictures on the link it looks as if this will replace what is currently in the car?

My apologies for not being clear ... The Grom unit would replace the OEM unit, not attach to it (the Grom unit does provide song info on the dash display). I assume someone would be happy to buy the OEM unit from you ...

The guys at Enfig.com are very knowledgeable and I suggest you contact them to see if they have any ideas for you.
