Auto tranny at first followed by DSG.

Sorry, the RS6 engine is a V10 twin turbo, not a V8
I predict that Audi will not cast a brand new 5.0L V8 block for a limited production car, when they just spent several years developing a modular block concept that spans from V6, V8 and V10. If you notice, all three engine families has exactly the same bore, stroke and cylinder pitch.
