Default No more seafoam...no more scraping. You excited?

JHM has been testing a carbon build up terminator. The Carbonator. Turns out it's doing its job. They're being tight lipped but looking exciting for the FSI.

BRT-Works is Bert-Works...a.k.a. Dan Bertocchini, the General Manager at JHM, and a B7 RS4 owner.

Reggie - that's a bad attitude.

They've tested the product for the past few months on their in house RS4. No carbon buildup.

Well I am on other forums too - and this one gets quite a calling so don't knock it. But having been around for quite sometime I have seen lots of things being developed that never turned out when released - so pardon my Skepticism. A test vehicle of one is not enough to prove a product - remember I am a retired HP manufacturing engineer and know what issues arise with getting a product into production.

If you want to post details that would be helpful but not superlatives

Let me help you...you said it's 'A pie in the sky'

This is a reference to something 'special' that is so out of touch with reality that it can only be realised in heaven, when you die. Your statement reflects a poor attitude or maybe just a poor choice of words. Being an engineer doesn't permit you to be overtly negative towards progress. Aren't engineers usually responsible for progress? Seems weird to be so down on it.

You remind me the 'engineers' on the forums who said ' a tune won't do anything for the RS4' or 'exhaust can't be improved on the RS4' and 'the RS4 is already high strung and fully wrung out'

Well today a stock RS4 (mine) ran 13.1 @ 107 at the dragstrip...and my friend in his RS4 with JHM tune + JHM 2.75" downpipes + JHM 2.75" exhaust + JHM clutch/flywheel ran the following time. That's pie that we can enjoy here on earth.

12.28 @ 112 MPH

Cayuga/Toronto Motorsports Park. Basically 600 feet elevation and it was about 50-55 degrees fahrenheit yesterday. DA was around 0-600 depending what time of the day it was.

What does it cost to get the car up to this level using the parts that he used?

Not that I am looking to do it anytime soon since I just purchased my RS4.
