No RS4's sightings in Los Angeles?!
Weird, I spent all week in Pasadena, Burbank, around the area driving alot, logged 2 full gas tanks on my rental car in 5 days, and I saw a ton of S4's, ton of A6's and a few S6's. But I only saw one RS4, and it was in the display case window of Rusnak Audi in Pasadena. I was kind of surprised, but then I thought "only ~2500 RS4's made in 2 years, 50 states, granted not all 50 states are eqully represented, but that is only 50 per state. Yeah I am sure Cali has 200, and North Dakota has 1, but point is, the car is defiitely rare and I like that!
Whereas BMW's are dime a dozen and look stupider and stupider, especially some of the "pimped" beemers in SoCal. Ridiculous.

About 60% of all RS4's can be found in 5 states: CA, CT, NY, NJ, MA......
I'm in MA, and I've still only seen 7 ever in 2 years except for meets/shows.
Other small pockets in CO, TX, FL, IL. Beyond these areas, it gets exceedingly rare.
Consider that there are more Toyota Camry's sitting on one average sized dealer lot in an average sized town than there are RS4's in that entire state.

Atlanta Area RS4's - A Few...
I've been watching for two years. Other than mine I've seen 3, two of the three were at a dealer and one was at this months Caffeine and Octane event. My wife saw a black 07 this week at our local Harley dealer in Roswell, which would make 4 in two years.

Yeah i didn't, bummer
I was staying at the Hilton on Los Robles and Green, just a couple blocks off Colorado. but was driving up to Chatsworth, Simi Valley, Burbank, Montrose, etc all week, leaving at 8:30am from hotel and getting back about 4:30. Then usually I would walk down to old town for dinner.

I know there are 3 RS4's in Tri Cities, WA
Mine, a Black one, and a Daytona Gray. I have seen the black one at the Grocery store before, but never the Daytona. Dealer told me thats all they sold in the area, and thats all they service. The Daytona is an '07, the black and mine are '08's.
There is an Avus Silver still for sale in Yakima, and I think Spokane/Cour d'alaine have about 8-10 based on talking to the dealer parts guy there.
West Side (Seattle, Bellevue) has a bunch. So I think WA State has more than 50. I have been at Barrier and University Audi's and have seen at times they each have 5 in stock or more. And they seem to cycle through them well.
Oregon seems to be a bit different. I would guess there are maybe a 20-30 in Portland, given the only dealer is Sunset and I know a couple of the guys there well as it was my home dealer for 12 years. There are also some in Bend Oregon as well, but thats about it. When the RS4 first came out Sunset had deposits on about a dozen cars right out of the chute. So Oregon maybe has 40 cars, Washington has maybe 60-80 cars? Just guesses of course.
I remember the RS4 registry had a pretty good geographical distribution of cars at midway through '08, and Cali was heavy, PNW was average. Midwest outside of Denver was very light, but for some reason Denver is an Audi hotspot.
