Noob question..What's that shrill, brain peircing, long beep when I put the key into...
the ignition and start the car? No dash warnings. That's the only time I hear it. I mean, I know I'm starting the car, thank you very much....Can this be defeated using VAGCOM? Thanks in advance.

defeated? you obviously have an issue....what does your Driver Info Display read?
TPMS?
to my knowledge, there can be no beeping without a visual cue as well.....keep looking...

Vijay...Help! You heard it right?? Not an aural hallucination...
problem is when you start the car, everything on the dash lights up, but nothing stays on. As for Bluetooth, can't even use that now, cuz I think last persons code is still in effect...PLUS..I didn't get a manual with the damn car I LOVE so much:-) Oh well, I guess I'll be thankful for my blessings for now. It just sounds exactly like my pager--gives me palpitations :-/
