oil temp reached 252F after added 2qts of valoline 5w40...is only 95F outside......

just took the car out for another run....75 degree, freeway cruising is at 226F then
I popped to 4th and keep it 5k rpm the temp start rising to 242F. Never happened before.
Anyway, found 0W40 mobil 1 at autozone, bought a case, trying to get oil change done this weekend ^^

How many miles on this oil?
The original factory oil did this on mine as I approached 2500 miles, changed the oil and filter and it now struggles to get over 225... You want the oil over 215 to burn off any moisture and 250 is not really that hot for oil but it seems this car does not run that warm unless the oil is breaking down or you are running it very hard.
