Other then the possible leaking why do you think DRC sucks?...
The only suspension that would be "better" then the stock setup would be STaSIS IMHO.
The KW's might handle slightly better, but you give up everyday drivability. They also offer you the option to lower the car, so the look would be better then stock for some people.
The STaSIS SL's and MS's are very close to stock comfort, but are much better in the twisties...but that doesn't matter if you don't drive the twisties often.
Personally, if I were buying a suspension for the RS4 right now I would go with the STaSIS SL's. But, for now I'm happy with the SSP.

You don't need to get the top of the line MS kit but could just get the SLs...
The shocks are not adjustable like the MS kit ones but unless you really track the car and require all the adjustments perhaps the SLs are for you at almost half the price.

Re: this board is heavily biased towards stasis...
If you don't track why not go with SL's. There is a reason for the STaSIS bias and it is because it gives you a stock ride as far as steetability. When the KW's are in the ride will be rough for a DD.

I have KW V3 too and don't find them rough, but would really like to drive Stasis to see what they're like. I've never seen any other product raved about so much as those.

It does suck. Many articles say it's unstable when braking from high speeds and it breaks too often.
Having been a passenger and driven the stock car and one with the MS kit, I can tell you there is a Hell of a difference in all performance aspects with the MS kit.
