E60 M5 is 8:13
B7 RS4 is 8:08

VTS is 7:59

Anyone test driven one of these and can provide an opinion please?

Best,

Default That's great, but I live in Florida. :-)

Meh, no matter what it does, it's still a Caddy, ugly as ****, crappy interior, and it took them 2 years to beat the RS4's time by a mere 9 seconds and tie the time of a 3 year old Z51?

Pass.

I know everyone gets all hard about the Nordschliefe, and it is one form of a benchmark, but I think people get too caught up in that stuff. Most of the people who buy a CTS-V will have trouble with freeway onramps, let alone the Nurburgring. :-)

Nice bit of news for Rick Wagoner and the folks at GM. They could use that right about now.

Default You've convinced me you've neither been in one or more importantly driven one...:)

Their interior is much much better than the outgoing model.

Looks like the Germans had a good deal to say in the build of this vehicle.

Better than the Aussie's Holden (read as Pontiac GTO et al) and lavishly equipped, including technology package.

Appealing to would be M5, RS and AMG owners...

Best,

Ram

Default I have sat in one,

sorry, it's still ugly as a box of rocks, IMO, and the interior, no matter how improved, is still light years behind Audi, Benz, etc. and uses cheap materials, IMO.

Still gets a big "meh" from me.
