OMG, that Bugatti is QUICK!
Obviously, something going on at the start (he may have been just giving the M3 a head start as James suggested ... that's my guess too) but he still smoked the M3 bad.

Not just your regular DSG and AWD system (special Haldex). It's designed/built by Recardo in the UK.
These are the same people that built F1 trannys.
IIRC the Veyron's clutch/tranny and Haldex AWD system have to withstand the Veyron's full un-slot of torque in first and second gear and IIRC that number is an outstanding 9000 ft/lbs of torque!
