Out with the Old - In with the new!
Well...
After 3 months of waiting the dealer finally called yesterday to tell me the car was ready.
OLD (2001 S4 Black 6 speed, Giac, H&R Streets, DTS, S8 Wheels, Pilot Sport PS2's, stock exhaust)
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21840/dsc00307.jpg">
NEW (08 RS4 Daytona Gray, Stock) - not a great pic as it was obviously dark out by the time I got home.

Anyone wanna buy a used S4?

How does the power differ from you stage 1 S4?
And i don't just mean more hp, how does the powerband feel? Stage 1 S4s have gone mid to low 13s pretty easy, not much behind the rs4. Just wondering how they felt to you.

Mostly Lag
I have not gotten on it at all yet as I want to break her in gently, however, I have noticed that she feels much more snappy. Without going to full throttle I would put them at fairly equal with the RS4 being slightly ahead.
The RS4 is effortless immediate power - refined, responsive, and aggressive. The old car was much smoother - kind of like hitting the bottom of the arc on a swingset where you gradually get pushed into the seat (not sure if that is a weird description or not)
The suspension is way different than the H&R Streets although I am not sure how to explain it: Sometimes more agressive, sometimes less, sometimes stiffer, sometimes not, it changes.
