Default Paging RI RS4. Have you come across Schaeffer Supreme 9000 5W40 in your oil studies?
If so, any comments?

Schaeffer's is generally good oil, although I have no personal experience with it or data on the RS4. Public data on the 5W40 is slim.

Since this is a non-approved oil, and you seem to be okay with using a non-approved oil in your RS4, why not go with the blend we've developed at Renewable Lubricants with Terry Dyson's help? It was custom engineered specifically for this engine, and has advanced base oils and additives that nothing else in the world has.

Default do they even produce it on their own, or just relabel another oil under their brand?

They do their own formulation and blending, both Schaeffer and Renewable Lubes
