Default Part number help for XM conversion on 08 with Nav

I've STFA'd and I've seen some conflicting information. Hating the Sirius in the 08 RS4 cab and wanting XM back (cinema station). Is this the correct part number for conversion with Nav?

8EO 035 593 E

thank you,
Andrew

Default No - My Sirius module is a 8E0 035 593 L

I have the matrix for the modules from Audi and it show that module is a single Arm antenna connection

It appears we need a splitter that will convert the single antenna connection to a "dual arm".

It appears when AOA executives got a BJ for signing and exclusive arrangement with Sirius - they changed the connection of the Antenna.

If you find info otherwise - please let me know.

I was very disappointed with Sirius compared with SM. I had thought that the programming was similar but I have not found one station I could stand for very long. I cam constantly searching for material I enjoy. On XM many channels would entertain me for hours.

Email me and I was send you a scan of the Audi Sat Receiver Matrix

Default ygm

Wow, this really stinks. I'm really disappointed with Sirius. I too, was told they are basically the same thing by my salesperson. I was shocked to find they have no Cinemagic equivalent. I'll be travelling in the car for 5hrs each way over Thanksgiving and I'm dreading the trip thanks to Sirius.

Default I am looking to do the same conversion in our cab.

Looks like the "E" part will work or the newer "G"

Over at navplus I read that we also need a splitter (Terk XM-SP) to convert the single pole connector in the car to the dual style on the XM tuner.

Default I'm wondering if the dealership will need to flash the "e" unit though?

I also heard some recoding needs to be done via vag-com...I'm hoping I can do this myself as the dealership didn't seem too keen on helping with the conversion.

Default I don't want to spend that money if it does not work. I don't mind wasting 40 bucks

on connectors.
