perfomance loss when going from 19" to 20" wheel?
Hey guys,
My Ibis White Rs4 will be here on the 5th of March, and I really would like to get my wheels ordered and ready. The question is, is there really that much of a hit in performance when going from 19 to 20? Any information is grealy appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Staying with overall diameter? Otherwise you'll essentially have taller gearing. Additionally,
a 20 inch wheel is almost always going to be heavier (unless you buy a forged/magnesium or other form of lighweight yet strong wheel) and the tires will be heavier - all of which impact unsprung weight. Unsprung weight is undesirable because it hampers braking, turn-in, acceleration, and ride quality. How much, depends on how much extra weight you're adding, and how well the suspension has been designed to cope with that.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking 20" wheels that are one-piece/forged, and on the lighter side. But since I won't be tracking the car much, I thought 20" BBS motorsport wheels in black would really lend to the cars overall look. What do the stock wheels weigh?
