Performance modifications?
So what is the list of performance modifications people are considering for their RS4s. I'm new to Audi so I no idea what people think needs to be improved. Mostly interested in performance, suspension, exhaust, engine, etc.

Given that the engine currently has direct injection and runs 12.5:1 compression I think it would be pretty hard to add a supercharger...

Direct injection allows for a higher compression ratio to be used without detonation...
so 12.5:1 for this engine isn't a relative number to a port injected engine. It can and will be supercharged by MTM from what I've been told, but I expect it be <b>at least</b> 25K.

How does the RS4 get a blower so soon when its taken the S4 an eternity? Is this real?
Or another "we're almost there" type of rumor?
$25k sounds like hella money. I don't know much about these types of mods, but for that much money, wouldn't you just consider a totaly different car?
I guess if it weren't for the Quattro you would, but if you're married to that (as I am) you'd be interested in a blower.
