Performance questions for Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires...
I have the Dunlops 255/35/19 on 19x9 wheels and here are my questions: 1)what is the max outside air temperature to run these? 2)what is the max speed that is safe? 3)how do these tires do in the rain? 4)what tire pressure to ride on? I ask these questions because I only drive to the snow on the weekends and drive during the week without snow where the daytime temps are in the 40's, but sometimes in the low 50's. It's a pain to keep switching back and forth between snowtime driving.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Same as below for me...
I run mine in Reno - many warm days, some cold days and several with snow or ice.
1) no real max outside air temp - the tires wear fairly quickly with lots of warm/dry driving
2) V rated (149mph)
3) great in the rain, great in the snow/ice but we finally has some heavy snow here and, for one day, I was thinking a narrower tire would have been beneficial - probably not worth it since it was one day out of 18 months ownership
4)41 psi (cold)

Almost same as below...
The warmest I've run them was around 60 deg F and they were fine, they didn't even feel greasy at all. Probably will wear out quickly in the warm weather though.
I run lower pressure (36psi) thanks to more impact cush (I have 225 on 18's).
What a great tire, can't ask for a better (compromise) winter tire. Very nice ride, too.

I run 225 width on 18" wheels, they are very good in rain and quite good on dry roads too, there
isn't any max. temperature limitation. I use them about 5 months out of the year. Excellent tires for winter and not much performance difference from my summer tires on dry roads.

Excellent tire, great wet performer, silky smooth. Some mortals run them year around.

I run mine on 18" but just did cross country drive in all temps with no issues and
honestly not a lot of wear, still as much tread as ever after two seasons...ran in temps up to 70 degrees and cruised 85-95 all the way to florida and back with a few 140mph sprints. Excellent in wet, superb in snow. 40 psi cold all around for me. The only thing i notice is they give up in high speed braking/cornering a little quicker than my normal summer tires (that being PS2s for me) with warning but handle excellent. Use 5 months a year here.

Run M3's Dec to April, -15 to 70 temp, 40 psi cold, excellent winter tire, only
troublesome at high speeds and hard braking and cornering but gr8 in wet, snow and dry.setup on OEM 19's rims.
