Default Performance seems to suffer when its...

baking hot at 112 degrees in the shade. It may be just me suffering from the heat, but maybe it is the car. In the morning when its still cool at 90 degrees the car runs well but as soon as the digits rise over 105 it seems slower and less responsive. Does that sound reasonable?

Default

It's more than reasonable, it's physics.

Default Every 10 degree farenheit increase in air temp will result in a 1% drop in horsepower (roughly).....

Therefore, on a cool, crisp 40 degree day, you are making 30 more hp than on your 112 degree day. In some parts of the country, where humidity is also a factor, this power loss can even be greater as the water content of the air rises. In New England, for instance, the available power difference between the hottest most humid days of the year and the coolest, driest winter days can be around 50hp on this motor.

Default TJ: If I remember basic chemistry of explosives, every increase of 10 degrees doubles

the velocity of the explosion...no wonder primer cord is so handy!
