Default This pissed me off a little bit today!

I was at the dealership dropping off the car for service and in the show room was a brand new S4 with the same wheels as our RS4's.

Does this bother anyone else that Audi feels the S4 can come with the same wheels as the RS4?

Default uh...how do you feel about the Q7? The TT? The A8?

I bet my signature REALLY Grinds your Gears doesnt it.

These wheels, while they where first used on the RS4 havent been used on only the RS4 in quite a long time.

Dont feel bad...this is old hat for Audi. The B5 RS4 Avant wheels made it eventually to the MkI TT and also the RS6 et al.

I don't think the Lambo guys are upset about Audi taking their steering wheel.

Default This is normal for Audi...

The B5 RS4 wheels were everywhere, now the B7.

At least they are 18" on the S4 and the different offset means the centers aren't as curved.

Even the TT S-line wheels don't look quite as nice as the RS4 ones.

Default Thats only becuase they share Audi's Nav+ ;)

In all seriousness to your point, I love the wheel in my TT and the R8 as well.

The R8 and TT share alot also, aside from "Audis new design language" going forward, things like the Mirrors, Gas Cap, Seats, Wheel, Nav, Ventilaion Controls, Audi Space Frame, Etched Turn Signals, Tail lights....are all virtually identical from the MKII TT to the R8.

Simple economics. They'll sell far more S4s w/ those wheels than they'll lose RS4 customers

Default Not the same wheel your wheel is wider, larger, and lighter...

Keep in mind that they wiil have a new body design out next year so wheel options are being tried out... For example 2006 S4s came with BBS wheel... Don't let it get you down there are bigger things to worry abut... )

Default The TT also?I know the offset is dif....which may account for the weight...but the size?

At least on the TT...they are still 19x10 wheels on 255/35/19's...only the offset is diffrent as I understand.

I agree on the A8 as those are 20s and the Q7 are 21s...and the S4 18s

I thought the RS4 wheels were cast also. Are they forged?
