Plugged my exhaust vacuum hoses today
I have to say it made a nice difference in the sound - even compared to having the Sport mode on. Took the RS4 out for a long drive this afternoon and didn't end up with great mileage as I was dipping into the throttle quite a bit.
I may even de-flap this week...

Here's how..it's a simple detach and plug up.
Check out this thread on another forum. I've done mine. I've posted my photos and others have too.

Re: I'd like to do this. Is there a how-to laying around somewhere?
Funny to read how that S4 guy reacted to this<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/19561.phtml">GOLF TEE MOD</a></li></ul>

Is this your photo here?

Also: Is there any benefit from yanking it apart at the green line (pictured) instead of at the actuator like others have done?

Remove the black rubber hose @ the solenoids, plug them, then cap the solenoid port.
You need to plug the black hose or you'll have a vacuum leak.
You should cap the soleniod port to keep dirt out.
