Poll: How many of you would have ordered or would order an RS4 with DSG if:
1) it cost < $1,500 as an option,
2) it had 7 forward gears and launch control,
3) it improved acceleration and fuel economy slightly,
and
4) it was available.

Possibly...depends on a few things...
- If it was reasonably priced as an option
- Had similar (or better) performance than the MT
If the RS4 wasn't my daily driver then I'd just get the MT, but assuming I don't win the lottery next week I suspect that if the RS4 is my next car it will be used daily.

yeah, i guess I am stackinga bit
that is the only way I would option for it...but this is realistic though. The rumor is that all VW/Audi DSG transmissions will be 7 speed. The transverse DSG6 has launch control so why wouldn't the longitudinal version?
Quicker shifting and an extra gear over the MT6 could lead to shaving a couple 1/10 s off of acceleration times.
