Poll: If the RS4 had been offered with DSG, would you have gone for it?

If you said yes to the first question, followup question:

If Audi were to offer a DSG retrofit in the future (it will never happen but this is all hypothetical anyway), will you go for that? How much would you be willing to pay?

S4-GTR 05-03-2006 07:19 AM

YES.... NO..... and will only go for an AVANT. Period!

India Whiskey Charlie 05-03-2006 07:21 AM

No!

larryV 05-03-2006 07:58 AM

No. Unless it makes the car lighter which I doubt.

I would have considered it for my wife to be able to drive it, but I would never retrofit it even...

if it were possible.

Never!!!!!!!!!!!

wagongotya 05-03-2006 09:59 AM

if it were my dedicated track car, yes...otherwise no.

chances are i would pass on DSG even in the R8. "hands-on" shifting will one day be a lost art.

even if a car can do it better and go faster around the track than me doing it manually i want to be in control. THAT is driving.

nonetheless the DSG is freaking amazing. who knows. i could give in.........

Big 2nd. Fast laps on a DSG feels good. But beating the DSG's time on a 6MT enlarges the penis

123Thumperer® 05-03-2006 05:21 PM

better order that "pump". gonna be hard to beat a DSG ;-)
