Poll: For those who have disabled their Servotronic, do you like it better stock or disabled?

Oh Mike, where's your sense of humor? I know what you're talking about
I was only trying to keep your lonely post from going unanswered.
That said, I don't make it a habit to tinker with steering.

On an E39 M5 the steering was just too hard when parking.
It sure felt great (correct) when moving though. Ran that way for less than a week before returning it to stock.
On the RS4, can it be disabled in the VAG, or do you just disconnect the electrical connector on the steering box? Driving your car that way for a few days would be an interesting and useful lesson.

Interesting paragraph in the S5 article on steering from the reviewers....
"Steering was a bit of a conundrum in that we felt that the weighting in the A5 was appropriate, but that things were overboosted in the S5 - clearly the opposite of what one would expect. Audi says that the servotronic power assisted steering is speed dependent, but things were a bit feathery at all speeds in the S5. Presumably the relay can be pulled at the owner's discretion which would easily solve this minor problem."
