Hi Guys. I am from the uk but cannot find any advice that helps. I have a 100k mile 2002 2.7 RS4, maintained regardless of cost, which had timing belt replaced at 80k miles. At 100k miles the 'roller bearing', which I think is called the idler roller as it does nothing but guide the belt, failed. This has resulted if new heads, 2 turbos and a possible cost of £15,000. Audi uk have said that this roller bearing is not part of the fitting pack and therefore they are not responsible - any thoughts

We don't have the B5 rs4 over here - I suggest finding an independent audi shop in the UK...

beofre you shell out all that cash , u'll find another engine for much less.
