Most cars are fully optioned so I will assume that he car you are looking at is too. Here is my thought of a decent deal:

Wholesale: $53K
Private Party: $56K
Dealer: $58K
Dealer CPO: $60K

The above is just my personal guess. While the production was limited to about 2,000 cars, these cars are fairly common, quite a few are for sale, and used cars prices are in the toilet right now.

Keep in mind, prices may be higher in high demand regions. Is it worth saving $2K, buying a car sight unseen and spending $1200 to have it shipped? Probably not.

I purchased 2007 RS4 CPO w/18,000 miles one month ago for $55K from Audi Manhattan. Sparkhill is right, it is regional but I think consumers are in the drivers seat with the way the economy is going. You should also be able to get a very good interest rate depending on credit. My advice is going in with a set price your willing to pay and don't waver from it.
