Default Pricing question

Have any of you heard of 2007 RS4's selling in the "mid-thirties" wit no problems with anything mechanical? I was shocked to hear this from a semi-reliable source (dealer) when there the other day. If true, wish I had waited ...

Default auction prices are low-mid 40's

AFAIK, none have been through auction at less than $40K. It is possible trade-ins and/or dealer-to-dealer sales have gone through for less.

Default Re: Pricing question

depends on the color i think too.

my CPO was $57k with 19k miles (sprint blue premium / cream interior). i searched for a couple weeks and the very few dealers that had them would not budge on the price at all. i pretty much got raped because of the color. could of got a black one with less miles for about $4-5k cheaper.

i wanted the blue with the cream interior and there are very few around. also had to drive 600 miles away to get it. there are none around here. one dealer had 2 yellow and 1 black but not really my choice of color.

i'd say for anything less than 45-50k u should be careful.. look at book value and that explains it all..
