Default Question about the engine temperature needle...

I may post a picture, but I noticed that when my engine is fully warmed up and the needle is in the middle of the gaugue, that it's actually a smidget to the left of the middle mark.

On my S4, it was perfectly in line with the notch for the middle. I don't know, is it that the engine is slightly less warm than the middle temperature, or is it that the gauge is simply off by a smidget.

I guess it's not a big deal, but wondering if others have seen this too?

Water temp gauge is dummy gauge. No worry.

Default Well I guess the case could be made..

That if it's fully warmed to the middle and not properly showing it (if only by a few hairs) then what's to say that it might not show things properly if overheated?

I guess that is unlikely. I mean it does gradually show the warm up as you'd expect, just that it stops short of the middle tick. I'll post a pic later.

Default if it's overheating, it will be WAY to the right.

my old TT would routinely go to the last hash mark before the red, but it never went INTO the red. Anywhere outside of the red area is within normal limits.
