Default Question for anyone with P-Zero's

<center><img src="http://webpages.charter.net/parkhill/RS4/misc/tires.jpg"></center><p>
I finally got around to putting my summer tires on and I noticed that it appears I have four right tires. I hate to admit that I never noticed this before. I'm guessing that either the factory or the port screwed up.

In the photo, you can see that the tread looks to be going the wrong direction on the left side. Would somebody mind looking at their car to confirm my suspicions?

Default Normal - yours is exactly the same as my P-Zeros (they're a non-directional tire)

Which is part of the reason they're so quiet. I had two sets of PS2's (on different cars) prior to these P-Zeros and was disappointed when I first learned my RS4 came shod with the Perellis. But no worries - I love them, they are every bit as good for max-performance street as the Michelins.

if they were mounted wrong, that center tread(half scalloped) would be reversed on the one side. it's not. very healthy looking tires by the way!

Default Thanks.

I thought they may have come as either rights or lefts.

Default EDITED. The best way to know for sure is to look for indications on the sidewalls...

If there is an arrow pointing the way the tire should be turning/rotating or the wording "outer" or "inner". If any of theses indications show up, you should respect them.

From looking at your tires in the pictures it looks like you have the PZero Rosso. This tire can be either "directional" but not in your case and can be "asymmetrical" which is what yours are. This means it is like a PS2 tire.

Here's more info for you...

<b>"The PZero Rosso System includes both asymmetric and directional tread designs, each tuned to satisfy the unique performance needs of different types of vehicles and uses. The PZero Rosso Asimmetrico is the most widely used because it's designed for both front and rear axle positions of front engine front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive cars (and on all cars driven on the track). The PZero Rosso Direzionale is designed to offer enhanced hydroplaning resistance and is primarily for use on the lighter load carrying front axle positions of mid-engine and rear-engine rear-wheel drive cars (which are then combined with the PZero Rosso Asimmetrico tires on the rear axle positions)".</b>

The Michelin PS2's are the same. Asymmetrical, but not unidirectional.

Default Funny, I went through the same exercise myself three weeks ago!

I convinced myself that the tires are non-directional. Then I used the scientific method of accumulation of brake dust on the inside spokes to figure out which tires had been mounted on the front.
