Default A question for those RS4's with H-sport sways and after-market exhaust...

<img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2232/1750961723_8d8e3dc144_d.jpg" />

I just got my Miltek Resonated CBs installed today and I like them a lot. It makes the driving experience feel much more immersive.

As I am driving today, a few thoughts are going through my head. Among others, I am contemplating the best approach to hugging my car to show my affection. Do I hug the front bumper? Perhaps hugging the driver side view mirror might be more intimate.

I am also thinking about why the exhaust tips must stick out beyond the bumper. I was told that it is because of the nub on the rear anti-sway bars.

<b>Question:</b>
Is there a way to have the sways and the exhaust installed together such that the exhaust tips do not extend past the end of the bumper?

Default you need the intake flap removed to hug the car with maximum intimacy.

and make sure the engine isn't hot, or you might fry your fudgies.

not that I would know anything about that...

Default Sort of...

The mufflers can be adjusted to slide in further on the exhaust system. However, the system expands tremendously after being heat cycled due to the Stainless grade they use. Mine starts off nearly flush with the bumper in the morning and within 20 minutes, it's sticking out almost 3/4 of an inch further. And no, I'm not kidding.

No detrimental effect however, as I've had my Milltek on for months and love it to death.

Default Thanks. His name is Iopius and I can honestly say he's one of the best dogs in the world.

That said, he does not get to ride in the RS4.

About how far out when cold? I see my exhaust tips out about 0.5" cold.

you can remove the nubs and just put them on when you're lubing the bars, btw,
