Questions about my order
Car was ordered 10/2 and estimated delivery date is 12/25. Does this sound about right?
Anyone know when I should be able to get a VIN?
Anyone know a way to find out the status of my order outside of the stealership? I tired AoA customer service, but they told me that they themselves would have to go through the stealer.
Damn...you guys make this wait difficult!......but I can't stay away!

I ordered mine on 8/29 and schedule delivery was 11/27. Don't have it yet, but it's on the way
from port apparently.
You are normally able to get a VIN once construction is complete by Quattro GmbH. Your dealership should be able to get it for you. Your car has probably been built already and may be on it's way to the port or even on a ship already!

Mine was shipped today, arrives in San Diego on 12/11 and perhaps
I'll receive it prior to XMas (I hope). My dealer calls me every couple of weeks with updates. It looks like I'll sell my S4 on Friday. So, I'll be in a four-door, 0-60 in 13 seconds for a month. Should be quite a contrast come delivery date.

The "FORCE" will grow stronger each day.
FWIW mine got here a full month earlier than expected. With no warning I got a call "Your RS4 is here, would you like to come pick it up?" I hope you get the same call soon.

Ordered mine July 12th, received the VIN Oct 13, car was delivered to the dealership Nov 13th and I took delivery on the 14th. As it got closer the wait was excruciating but now that its here I LOVE it. Its raining cats and dawgs here and that thing feels like nothing I have ever driven in the rain. Way better than my S4.

Ordered mine in early August....got a call two weeks ago saying that it won't arrive till 12/10 at the dealer. I thought this is a long time, but anyways, hopefully I can get it slightly earlier.
