Default questions on ipod integration (paging Elevens)
I've searched the forum and see conflicting info. Does the ipod kit replace either the CD changer or SAT radio or do you loose both?

Also, Elevens mentioned one wire needs to be reassigned on the back of the radio. Which one? I tried to install the kit on Friday and got it working but I lost the SAT signal.

Default I lost both sirius and the cd changer
I was told that they were going to fix this in the future but I don't think they have yet.

Default Sorry Bro, neither SAT nor the CD changer works w/ iPod integration
There's a work-around to get the SAT working by messing with the wiring harness in the trunk but it looked too deep for my purposes.

I have an 08 RS4 with ipod and sirius, it replaces the cd changer only

Default is the ipod integration an audi part?!?
if so that is **** poor design on their part. How can you make someone choose between 1 of the 3. It should be all of them....

Default If the iPod doesn't work with the Sirius, it's because ...
it's not been wired in correctly by the dealer/installer.

The audio outputs of the iPod integration (or CD changer) connects to the audio inputs of the Sirius tuner - and both work happily together.
