seriously, I think they contracted out rubbermaid for the bottom half of the car.

Default Car is wearing cammo...this is not the final production version
Most car makers deliberately obscure the detailing of cars undergoing final testing before debut. In addition, the car makers want to create a buzz about pending products and Audi is very good about creating that buzz. The car will look different-witness the TT mk II spy photographs and the final production version. Very different looking.
