Radar Detectors
I am looking to buy a radar detector as soon as I take delivery on RS4. Spent good amount of time reviewing various radar detectors at the www.radarbusters.com website.
I was thinking of going with either an Escort or Beltronics concealed unit. I live in New Jersey and the cops in my town and surrounding towns are a bit trigger happy with pulling cars over - they do pretty good job of looking into on coming cars and suddenly pulling them over.
Wondering if anyone has had good experience with concealed units. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

RS4: Consider the V1.
The V1 has an interface that plumbs right into your dash display lights.
However, I do not recall where the receiver is to be placed.
I strongly advise emailing Radar Roy from that site.....he is an AWESOME guy to work with an answered everyone of my annoying questions.

V1 period. The arrows really matter and the distance...wow. $100 more and
worth every penny. 10 years of owing them...tickets while using a V1 zippo. Own an RS6 and prior cars that I always drove too fast...no tickets w V1 up. Again 10 years...the arrows are key along w distance.
