Default Ragtop question:

I washed my car for the first time today. Man, the water beads up on that cloth top. How long can I expect this to happen? Does it need a treatment every once in a while?

Default I think he meant that he wants to know if it needs additional treatments to keep it beading.

IDK

Default errr, maybe I should rephrase the question so idiots like you can understand it.

Just looking to find out if there is a recommended cloth top treatment to keep it -- yeah -- waterproof.

Default Had an Audi convertible for years...the suggestions in the link are just right. The beading

will happen for a long long time. The top on the car I had is still the original and fine today and it was a '94 that lived outside most of its life so they last very well. I used a soft brush and soaps like they say and had no problems.
